On January 5, 2013, E. Paul Lehnig, LCDR, USN, ret went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior.
He was born on September 26, 1925 to Jessie Berdella Nogle and Robert Herman Lehnig in Kankakee, Il. He was married for 66 years to his love, Jean Marie (Francoeur) Lehnig.
He is survived by his sons, Ken Lehnig and wife, Sheryl (Eaton) Lehnig, Richard Lehnig and fiance Mary Jane Cuomo and Bob Lehnig and wife, Heidi (Carr) Lehnig. His daughters, Linda Darrin (deceased) Paula Hallman and husband, Scott Hallman and Leslie Reese and husband, Ron Reese.
Grandchildren, Mathew Lehnig and wife, Valerie (Clark) Lehnig, Gregory Lehnig, Autumn Koomen and husband, Josh Koomen, Annalyn Lehnig, Christopher Lehnig, Melody Edwards, Mason Lehnig, Kelly Gans, Dustin Lehnig and wife, Rosa Woods (Watson) Lehnig, Ammon Lehnig and fiancee, Kristen Seuberling, Stephanie Carr Lockwood and husband, Luke Lockwood, Jacquelyn Carr Umoru (deceased) and husband Douglas Umoru, Jr., Erin Lehnig (deceased) Heather Lehnig, Macimilian Lehnig, Carley Hallman, Tristan Hallman, Shawn Hallman, Trevor Reese and wife, Amy (Chaffin) Reese and Amber Reese.
