LIPAN — Earline Gilliam, 89, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 in Weatherford.
Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Lipan.
Interment: Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Lipan, TX.
Earline was born May 10, 1927 in Lipan to Alton and Bessie Stowe. She worked for Rio Grande Insurance Company, Edo-Air Mitchell and was a Lipan School Cafeteria Manager.
Earline was a 4-H Leader, distributed Government Commodities and was a member of the order of the Eastern Star Chapter 127 and served as secretary treasurer many years. She served on Evergreen Cemetery committee many years, was Treasurer of Chieftan and Squaw Club many years and member of Lipan Home Extension Club for many years.
Earline was preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. Gilliam; parents; and brother, Johnny Stowe.
Survivors: Brother, Mike Stowe and wife, JoAnna; children, Brenda Brown and husband, Greg; grandchildren, David Brown and wife, Lisa, Leah O’Bannon and husband, David; great grandchildren, Seth and Micah O’Bannon and Emma and Evan Brown; nieces and nephews, Todd Tuggle, Jodi Overton, Bob Stowe and Russell Stowe; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
