Bill Sievers left a message on April 2, 2018:
Ernie worked with my dad (Jerry Sievers) for several years at the old Fort Worth Army Depot back in the '50's and '60's. Ernie would come over to our house many times and it was always a pleasure to have him show up. We all would often go on hunting and fishing trips together. On one trip to Lake Texoma, Ernie encouraged me to go on my first "Snipe Hunt"! What a riot! He was always full of life. I last spoke with Ernie on March 22nd the day after his 92th birthday, and I think he knew the end was near at that time. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. My sincerest condolences to his entire family during this sorrowful time. Bill Sievers Natick, Mass. antipode@comcast.net 508-651-7073
