Eddie J. Carroll, 72, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 in Dallas, Texas.

Graveside service: 2:30 PM, Thursday, Little Elm Cemetery, Frisco, Texas
Visitation: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 5, 2017, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas.
Eddie was born on July 5, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was the youngest of four children born to the late, Cleo and Martha (Boyd) Carroll. They lived in Denton, Texas at the time and he grew there, graduating from Denton High School with the class of ’62. Eddie continued his education at North Texas University with a bachelor’s degree in business. He met his wife, Cherry Salmon, at his family’s business, Carroll’s Drive-in where they both worked. They married December 18, 1964 and have enjoyed 52 years of married together. They moved to Davis, Oklahoma and raised three children before moving to Granbury where he retired as the internet sales manager for Classic Chevrolet.
Eddie will be forever remembered in the hearts of his family as a loving husband, wonderful father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren, and a truly great friend.
Eddie was survived by his wife: Cherry Carroll, son; Chad Carroll and wife Randa, daughter: Lorie Bratcher and husband Scott, and Julie Rogers and husband Jeff, brother: Robert “Bob” Carroll, sisters: Anita Partin, and Delores Cox and husband Randall, sister-in-law: Patty McQueen and husband Robert, six grandchildren: Jacey Carroll Odom, Jordan Boswell, Calen Bratcher, Kason Bratcher, Lane and Shane Boven, three great-grandchildren: Caiden, Logan, and Kynlie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
