Edward Lee “Ed” Jameson, 77, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020 in GlenRose.
Ed was born November 19, 1942 in Fort Worth to Levi Lesley and Rachel Campbell Jameson.
He was a volunteer with the Somervell County Fire Department for over 30 years and was the Fire Marshall for 26 years. He was a loving father and grandfather and he will be greatly missed.
Ed is survived by a daughter, Denise Sanchez and her husband Joe; son, Lesley Jameson and his wife Leslie; granddaughter, Rebecca Hand and her husband Tyler; grandson, Robert Jameson; great-grandson, Nathaniel Hand; brother, Al Jameson and wife Judy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandsons, Frank and Tommy Sanchez and by the mother of his children, Janice Jameson.
There will be a social distancing viewing from 1pm. to 7pm. Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Wiley Funeral Home in GlenRose.
Funeral 2pm. Monday, May 4, 2020 at Glenview Church of Christ in GlenRose. Burial will follow at Squaw Creek Cemetery.
