Elbert Franklin “Bill” Lee, 91, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: 1:00 p.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery in Nacogdoches.
Bill was born December 11, 1920, in Nacogdoches, to Frank and Mary Lee. He had been an area resident since 2006 and was a member of Wyatt Drive Baptist Church.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of White Settlement Masonic Lodge #1372.
He is survived by: Daughters, Karen Gayle Wittenberg and husband, Jim, of Fort Worth and Nancy Youts of Fort Worth; son, Billy Lee and wife, Charlotte Laughlin, of Waco; brother, James Lee of Nacogdoches; sisters, Lucy Havens of Dallas and Mary Smith of Katy; grandchildren, Kathy Braden, Cindy Cormier, Jimmy Wittenberg and wife, Audra, Christy Ealy and husband, Tre’, Charles Youts and wife, Melissa, Tammy Reese, Susan Varnon and husband, Justin, and Clifton Lee and wife, Janilyn; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
