Elizabeth Ann Fanning

Elizabeth Ann Daley Meeks Fanning of Paradise, Texas, age 74, passed away in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

Service: 10:00 am, Monday, September 19, 2022 at First Baptist Church, Haltom City.

Interment:  Following service at Springtown Cemetery, Springtown

Visitation:  3:00 to 5:00 pm, Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Biggers Funeral Home.

Elizabeth was born on June 25, 1948 in El Paso, Texas to Joseph William Meeks and Dora Stires.

She retired from Oncor Electric company and was a long-time employee with Transport Life Insurance Company.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Ronald “Ron” Fanning; her parents, Dora Stires and Joseph Meeks and John Foster Daley; two brothers, Kenny Meeks and Robert Meeks.

Left to cherish her loving memory are her children, Richard Fanning and wife, Amy of Weatherford, Teresa Fanning and husband, James of Paradise, Holly Lang and husband, David of Dixon, CA, Rhonda Alvarez of Forth Worth; siblings, Margie Hamon of El Paso, Mary Mirralis and husband Felix of Haltom City, Gary Meeks and wife Sandy of Fort Worth, Alan Meeks of El Paso, James Daley, Thomas Daley and Sandra Daley; sixteen Grandchildren; ten Great-Grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family is in deep appreciation to Dr. David Jordan and the staff of Comfort Care Hospice.
