Elizabeth “Betty” Roxanne McGarrah

January 22, 1927 - January 18, 2015

Elizabeth Roxanne “Betty” McGarrah, 87, peacefully went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, January 18, 2015.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, in Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth.

Betty was born January 22, 1927, to William E. Conrade and Roxanna Bradshaw in Waterloo, New York, and lived in the Fort Worth area for most of her life. She retired from Keller ISD after 18 years in food services at the age of 81.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Ella Mae Whalen; brother, Burt Conrade; and her daughter, Judy McCarter.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura London and husband, Larry; sons, Otto “Skip” Schmidt and wife, Patti, and Scott McGarrah and wife, Raynetta; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
