RuElla, Delvona, Leah Ann, Your Mom supported me in many stages of my life, elementary school, junior high, high school, young adult and on. She always made me feel important throughout all those stages growing up. She was a problem solver in every event or dilemma a youngster could find themselves in. Sometimes it was a word of advice and other times with an action from her that I so appreciated. Your house was always open and she made anyone feel welcome. She introduced me to antiques and now I love them. I collect the ones just like hers. I even have a foil Christmas Tree that is now an antique but it was the contemporary thing in the 60s decade. She had it in your picture window on Main Street, turning with the flood lights. My sister and I would join you with our Mothers on Friday night shopping trips, a memory I will always cherish. Keeping in mind all these experiences, her wisdom and knowledge of God’s love and his word, filtered through her toward all people including myself and family.

Grace was the first person to ask my friend Ann and myself to join the Ruth Class the first time we attended Ash Creek Baptist Church. Grace and all the Ruth Class ladies were so nice to us. She was the most elegant lady I'd ever met and she remained to always be. She was a gift to all of us and her name was perfect for her. I'm going to miss her and her sweet disposition.

Such a wonderful, very special lady! I have such happy memories of painting classes in the little house with the screened-in porch.

God bless you all during this time and may the cherished memories of your mother give you the comfort to sustain each other. May she Rest in Peace in her healthy and new body. She is only separated from you for a short time, not lost to you for you will see her again. God bless you all.

RuElla, Delvonna, LeighAnne Your mom was the dearest person, she never met a stranger, and always had a wonderful smile. She and Beth could always find "a sale" and bring home a treasure. I am sure Beth will be there welcoming her like a sister. Carol Burnett said it best, "I am so glad we had this time together."

Leah Ann, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's never easy to lose a mama. You are in my prayers for comfort at this time and you know where I am if you need anything at all. Love you much

Leah Ann and family, Although I never met your mom, you told me some really great stories about her life and what an amazing person she was. Having lost both my parents many years ago, I can still remember the pain and sadness but it sounds like your mom would understand Psalm 119:50..."Your promise preserves my life". You will miss her but she will always be with you. I hope you enjoy the Celebration Cover memorial blanket that is on the way in her honor. God Bless you all!!
