Elmer Lee Amos, 99, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014, in Glen Rose.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose. Interment: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Blanket Cemetery in Blanket, Texas. Visitation: 10:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Amos was born Feb. 28, 1915, in Neosho, Mo., to Luther Martin Amos and Ella Gray Amos. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War Two. He was a welder. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons.
Survivors: Wife, Louise Reynolds; daughter, Carol Goss; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
