Elnita M. Morris Trotter passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, with family at her side.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Jaybird Cemetery in Parker County. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Elnita was born October 14, 1928, in Hollis, Oklahoma, to A.A. and Stella Beard Morris. Her family moved to Burkburnett when she was about 5 years old. Later, in pursuit of a job at a dairy farm, the family moved to Springtown where she graduated from high school.
Elnita married Hoy L. Trotter on December 21, 1945, in Fort Worth. Hoy and Elnita lived in the Azle area for over 50 years and were blessed with two children, Cheryl and Danny.
Mrs Trotter had a long career in the medical field and retired from Geyer Clinic.
Elnita was preceded in death by her husband, Hoy, and her son, Danny.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Mayes and husband, Harry; grandsons, Monty and wife, DeAnna, Marty and fiancee, Monica; great-grandchildren, Sean, Brady, Maraylin and Luke; great-great-grandson, Ryan.
