Elwood Clarence “EC” Ragland, Jr., 57, of Fort Worth, passed away Sunday, November
12, 2017 in the midst of preaching the Word of God from the pulpit of The Baptist Church
at Park Glen.
Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.
Visitations: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Biggers Funeral Home.
Burial: Nubbin Ridge Cemetery in Granbury, Texas.

Elwood was born March 23, 1960 in Eastland, Texas to Elwood and Nella Ragland.
He was a graduate of Hardin Simmons University and Arlington Baptist University.
On June 6, 1992, he married the love of his life, the former Shelly Kay Rhoads of Fort
Worth. Elwood became Pastor of The Baptist Church at Park Glen on March 2, 2014, where
he served faithfully up to the minute God called him home. He enjoyed spending time with
his children, grandchildren, and church family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Elwood is survived by his wife of 25 years, Shelly; son, Ryan Thomas Ragland and his wife,
Chelsea and their children Logan, Zachary, and Elizabeth; his daughter, Rebekah Ann Ragland
and her fiancé, Daniel Keller; two brothers, Robert Ragland and his wife, Jenny and Gerald
Ragland; two sisters, Jana Ragland Pittman and her husband, Pat and Carol Ragland Marlow and
her husband, Andy; and many nieces and nephews.
