Erwin George Franks, Jr., 80, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012, in Granbury.
Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Dallas – Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
Mr. Franks was born May 20, 1931, in Houston, to Erwin George Frank, Sr. and Annie Elizabeth Patowski Franks. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a heavy equipment operator. He had lived in Granbury since 1991. Preceding him in death were his parents, a daughter, Pamela Franks, two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors: Daughters, Darlene Franks of Granbury, Brenda Taylor of Conroe; brothers, Donald Gene Franks and Robert Allen Franks, both of Texas; grandchildren, Penny Marie Scott, Beau Allen Nichols, Ashton Singleton, Terry Wayne Taylor, Alex Taylor, Matthew Robert Franks McClain, Dylan Anthony Franks, Renee Safford; and 12 great grandchildren.
