Eugene W. Koshinski, 75, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014, in Fort Worth.
A celebration of life will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Chapel followed by recitation of the rosary. His remains will be returned to his hometown of Swoyersville, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Koshinski, an area resident for over 50 years, had served in the United States Air Force. He retired as safety director with over 40 years of service in the trucking industry. He loved to travel and his favorite destination was Maui, Hawaii. He loved sports of all kinds and enjoyed reading books related to history or politics. Spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, was one of his favorite activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Sophia Koshinski, and a brother, Ronnie Koshinski.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Gutierrez; children, Susan Queen and husband, Richard, Sara Eckstein, Kevin Koshinski, Lisa Suarez and Silvino Suarez; siblings, Beverly Monahan and husband, Larry, Debby Faldoski and husband, Charlie, Edward Koshinski and wife, Alina, Lisa Zdancewicz and husband, Jeff, Cindy Bernstein and husband, William; grandchildren, Brittany, Jaclyn, Katie, Emily, Lauren, Anna, Valerie, Jacob, Kendall, Kaitlyn and Noah; and his beloved cat, Blue.
