Lina was One of my first friends that I made At Tolar. We were both new to Tolar, so it instantly connected that way. We got to know each other pretty well. We would tell stories about life and why we ended up at Tolar. She always was there for me & i was there for her when we needed each other! She lit up every room she walked in! I loved to see her smile every time I walked down the hallway! I remember when me & her were sitting in the library talking about who our seniors were. And we would laugh about every thing together! I always looked forward to seeing her notification on my phone! She was the one I looked forward to seeing every day at school! She made life easy and fun. She was also the one I could easily talk to because she would listen to me like no one else would! I will definitely will miss her!

I can’t imagine loosing a child or grandchild. Faint in Jesus Christ as our Savior is the strength we all need at a time like this. Even then, it’s heartbreaking to loose such a young and beautiful child. I only met Evalina once but feel blessed for that short visit. My prayers go out to the parents, grandparents, family, and friends. She lives on in others and in heaven. God bless you Evalina

I remember Lina, always with a smile on her face. And always with her Dad. She adored her Dad. I remember her at my daughter's quince, asking if I really was her Dad's religious education teacher. I told her I really was. She asked if her Dad was bad or good in class. I told her that he had his moments, she smiled shyly saying yeah he has his moments with me too. We just sat there and laughed. Cres my heart goes out to you and your family. Lina was a joy. I remember when I first met her. It was a Sunday at church and she was a little baby. The pride in your face and eyes introducing her to me. From that moment on I knew you were going to be a great dad. My prayers are with you. Lina is now a guardian angel to all her who received her gift.

I didn’t personally know Lina but I worked with Manuela at JPSH for seven years. I’m so sorry for the loss your family has suffered, especially one so young and so full of life. It doesn’t seem fair, really, but who am I to judge God’s plans. Perhaps the recipients of her generous donations will live on to do something brilliant they wouldn’t have been able to without Lina’s help. Just know that I am thinking of all of you at your time of sadness. Mourn not for what you have lost with her passing, but rejoice in what you gained by having her presence in your life!

When I first moved out to springtown a year ago I had trouble getting comfortable around my new environment, but out of everyone I talked to that first day Lina was the easiest, she was kind and matched my energy. Class with her was a blast she is a very supportive friend and always has good stuff to talk about I’m so happy I got to know her Rest In Peace 💙
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Lina was a cute lil baby and had the best personality, even as an infant. I’ll never forget Jamie telling Malcolm and I Lina’s newest favorite song (back then) was T-Pain - Apple Bottom (jeans, boots with the fur)…I thought surely not! We were hanging out watching tv and Jamie played the song and Lina dropped it like it was hot!!! Started dancing her booty off!!! She had the whole room of adults mesmerized and entertained! Something’s never change. 😀 Gone far too soon…we will forever remember you!!
