Jason and Ashley, we were so sorry to hear of the sudden and tremendous loss of Ashley's precious Mother, Eveline. We regret we never had the privilege of meeting her in person, but want you and and the Marshal family to know we are praying for your comfort and peace, as you relive all the wonderful memories and love received from the life of such a vivacious, loving person! God bless and keep you three! Uncle Don and Aunt Dovie Edwards.

There’s never a word or words to convey the heartbreak one feels when losing someone special and loving as Evie. She was outspoken, sassy, and unapologetic in her honesty. It was something I truly admired. Years would go by between us which to me felt like mere months and we would pick up where we left off. You were guaranteed a hearty laugh whenever you were in her company with her quick wit and animated way of her telling a story. She was something special and absolutely one of a kind. I miss you cousin. I wish I would have kept in touch and not have taken for granted that I would see you in a few “months”. I can and will always hear that distinct voice of yours saying “I love you more” and your contagious laugh. Love you Evie and may God comfort the family during these difficult times.

My favorite memories with Evie were the Smith's Easter Camping weekends. There were some beautiful memories made during those weekends! Evie was always a huge part of those. The stories that were shared sitting around the campfire created such laughter and smiles. (She ALWAYS had quit a few stories to share!) Her presence was always known but when she wasn't there and running late... there was silence. When she got there... it was ALWAYS, "Evie's here". The kiddos jumping out of the truck, Evie giving us this look that said "I know" then she'd say "you try getting 6 people together" LOL. Then the weekend would really begin... This woman was a true inspiration to me. She had her struggles, imperfections, challenges, etc. (don't we all) But through it all... she took care of those 4 beautiful children (who she loved so much), created a home (with Warren) that was welcoming to all and was supportive and loving to all of her family. I loved her smile, her hugs, her kindness, her loudness, her abbrasiveness, her honesty. She will forever be my Sister (in-law). Those memories will forever be with me. I am priveledged to have had her in my life. Warren, Ashley, Dustin, Colton and James... ALWAYS remember... she loved you more than words. Share your special stories with each other. She'll be there to laugh with you. May God watch over each of you and help you get through this. Love you all.
