Evelyn Joyce Sarlow, 87, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020. An inurnment will be scheduled at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
Evelyn was born on March 22, 1933 in Fort Worth, Texas to Burton and Ruth Smith. She married James “Bud” Sarlow on January 1 in 1977.
Evelyn is survived by her baby brother: Robert Paul Smith, children: Evie Schuster, Marlene Webb, Terry Porter, Trish Walters, Jimmy Webb, Michael Webb, as well as several nieces and nephews, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her beloved pets: Tia Maria, Mr. Cotton, and Louise. She was preceded in death by her firstborn son Herman Webb and husband James “Bud” Sarlow.
Evelyn had such a good heart. She was loving, nurturing and kind. She was the best wife and mother. Also, she was a wonderful cook, who made the best roast, fried chicken, and chicken fried steak.
She was loved by everyone and anyone that met her immediately loved her. Her love extended to her many pets over the years. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

God took you so suddenly, but I will be forever grateful that I got to talk to you that morning and told you I Love You. God could not have given me a better loving mother, even if I had asked. I've tried to be the best daughter for you to have. I think about you and talk to you every day. Nothing will ever be the same without you here. Holidays will be the hardest to endure. Thank you for giving me all of my sisters and brothers to help each other get through this sorrow. The crying is getting less, but there will forever be an ache in my heart because you are not here. Only God knows how much longer I'll be here before I see you again. Until then, every day I'll tell you how much I Love You and Miss you. I Love You and Miss You so much.

Tia misses you so much and was crying a lot, but I think she's settling down a little now. I know we'll survive but it's been hard the past 12 days. I hope you can rest in peace.
