Even though the house was full, it felt so empty without you today. I'll miss eating ice cream with you, your bear hugs and big voice, watching cooking shows, doing yard work with you, and each and every one of your "particular peculiarities". Cheryl, Matt, and Jaime miss you so much- no one can ever measure up to the man you were to them. We'd all give anything to have one more day. Watch over all of us and the kids, we're going to need it. Love you Wayne.

Wayne used to be my Sunday school teacher. One of his favorite verses and personal goals was 2 Timothy 4:7: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Wayne accomplished that goal. I have no doubt his reward was hearing his beloved Jesus say, "Well done, good and faithful servant!...Come and share your master's happiness!"

Cheryl, Matt, Jaime, and family, we were so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. Even though it must be hard at a time like this I know the fact that Wayne is in heaven enjoying the reunion with his dad and others will be some comfort. I am sure he is getting answers to all those questions we said we would ask God when we get there. Wayne was one of my best friends and I will truly miss him. We love you guys, Jim, Debbie, Jason, and Scott Mann

I remember going to Matts house and being scared of Wayne. He was a large man. Didn't take me long to learn that he was a giant teddy bear, but he kept me and Matt and the other boys from the 'hood in line. I have some good baseball memories as well.
Carolyn Lee left a message on March 13, 2012:
Wayne always met me with that big open smile and a big genuine hello hug. We have had countless fun and wonderful times with the Glover family. I know he is already greatly missed but I am so glad he is at peace now and not in pain. I know he is rejoicing in heaven with so many we know that have gone on. Cheryl, Matt, Jaime, Miss Dorothy and family; Ronnie and I love you all and are praying for you all.

So many fond memories of Wayne and the Glover family. He was a good friend, loving husband, father, grandfather and one of the most faithful, committed Christians I've ever known. I'm sure Jesus was happy to see that great smile as He welcomed Wayne home. May God wrap His loving arms of comfort around the family he had to leave behind...
