Faye Shipp

Faye Shipp, 83, passed away September 29, 2021 in Granbury, Texas. A visitation will be held from 10am until 11am on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Martin’s Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Martin’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant (Brushy) Cemetery.

Faye was born May 21, 1938 in Stephenville, Texas to J.C. Pack and Thelma Alice Mahar. She loved to read, do puzzles, and watch game shows. She also like to fish and play games. In her younger years she did love to dance. She was the owner and operator of Shipp’s Trading Post for 17 years. Faye is best known for her pies.

Faye is preceded in death by her husbands: Joe Shipp and Frank Stogdill; sons: Billie Lynn Moody, Jr. and Benjamin Wesley Moody; siblings: James Pack, Mary Pack, and Barbara Perkins.

Faye is survived by her children: James Price Moody and wife Eva, John Moody and wife Kelly, Billie Shipp and wife Rebekkah, and Joe Shipp and wife Kristy; 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings: David Pack and wife Jan, JoAnn Chandler, Pat Gray, Dee Reid, Larry Pack, Lonnie Pack and wife Lou, Peggy Fron and husband Jerry, Brenda England and husband David; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
