Felipe (Alex, Phil, and so many more nicknames) Trejo came into this world nearly 2 months premature on May 7, 1999. He passed suddenly and unexpectedly in a fatal car accident on Monday October 24, 2022 at the age of 23.
Visitation: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Sunday, October 30, 2022 in Biggers Funeral Chapel with a service to follow at 1:00 pm.
He was a senior at Texas Wesleyan University, on track to graduate this December with a bachelors in Theater Arts. He was active in the local theater community and several nonprofits with appearances in some truly amazing shows throughout the last couple of years. His favorite shows to act in were by far musicals of all kinds. He had dreams and aspirations of moving to New York one day to hopefully catch his big break on Broadway with his deep, booming, baritone voice. He was such an amazing person, inside and out. He touched so many lives and helped anyone however he could. He was our bright star, family comedian and often a sibling mediator or instigator, depending on the day! There are not enough words in the English language to describe how much he meant to his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Luis and Sally Trejo; his older brother, Petty Officer Third Class Julian and his wife, Alexis; younger sisters Janey, Serenity and Meah; grandparents, Guadalupe Garza, Luis and Ynes Rivas; his girlfriend, Emery Martinez Blas; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and so many more.
Preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Garza.
The light in our lives has dimmed with his passing. We will always love you my baby Alex and keep you in our hearts forever.
