GRANBURY — Flora Champion, 97, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, in Fort Worth.
Graveside service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014, at Holly Hills Mausoleum Chapel in Granbury.
Mrs. Champion was born June 18, 1917, in Avalon, Texas, to Walter and Mamie Feaster Wiles. She married Joe Champion, June 9, 1940, in Midlothian, Texas. She was a teacher/librarian in the Perryton School District. Flora was a member of Granbury First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Bert Wiles.
Survivors: Sons, Joe Champion and wife, Carol, John Champion, M.D. and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Joe Brad and Stacey Champion, Jerian and Guy Cook, J. Christopher and Rachel Champion, Sarah Champion; great grandchildren, Caitlen Hatcher, Ashley Hatcher, Trevor Cook, Travis Cook, Margaret Rose Champion.
