France L. Pilgrim, 51, passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at his home.

Funeral: Noon Tuesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Pilgrim, a lifelong area resident, attended Castleberry schools and Tarrant County Junior College. He was a pilot of small aircraft and enjoyed flying and was well known around Meacham Field.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret L. Pilgrim; mother, Frances McLarry Pilgrim; brother, Roscoe; sisters, Barbara and Patsy, all of the Fort Worth area; and a large extended family in Mississippi.
