I couldn’t have been more saddened to hear about the loss of your mother....my aunt Freda. I know that we live so many miles apart and time has a funny way of passing so quickly. There is not a year that goes by that I don’t flash back to the holidays we all spent together at grandma Ballew’s house or the summer Misty and I spent there with her playing with the wild bunnies Ezra got for us. I can remember those times like they were yesterday and especially remember the way your mom could tell a story and your dad would roll his eyes as if to quickly dismiss it! I laughed at the CB story and thought about how time changes things so quickly, but how vividly I could recall all of the cb equipment in your childhood home. My deepest condolences to you Amanda, Misty, Rhonda and Debbie. I love you all and hope you find comfort in each other and the wonderful memories you made with your mother in the time you spent together. Know that your mother’s hopes and dreams live on in each of you.

It was a beautiful service. So sorry I couldn't be there. I loved Freda more than just a mother-in-law. She was always ready to do anything for us, coming up the hill and seeing if every thing was alright and visiting for a while and bring some goodies she had made. She made roast & gravy for Ben's last meal. Even tho we didn't see her much in the last years, I held nothing against her. She is with Jesus,Terry & Gwen, whom she loved so much, and soon I will join them

Could not have asked for a better Mother in Law. Always made sure I had Unsweetened Tea to drink when I came over to visit. Freda, you did a fine job raising your girls and will be missed by many. Go rest high on that Mountain!

Freda was a special sister-in-law. She was always gracious and soft spoken. We spent many a hour playing cards. She loved her family with all her heart. She was a Christian who showed her faith to others by her actions. Freda will be missed but not forgotten. Prayers for the girls and their families as they continue on.
Ava Batiste left a message on June 16, 2020:
Freda quickly became my other sister when she married Terry, bringing 3 wonderful girls into our family. I loved to listen to her stories, drawing you in with such drama and anticipation. She had a delightful sense of humor, which was put to the test often by Terry's dry wit and sideways looks. The perfect traveling companion, always ready to embark on any adventure with a big sigh and "OH my!" I've missed seeing her the last few years and will miss her even more now. Her greatest legacy are her girls who will always carry her in their hearts. Peace and love, Freda. Time to rest.

I could always count on "Miss Freda," for a kind word, a sweet compliment, or a text or email of encouragement. She was especially thoughtful during my family's losses, offering prayers of love and strength. I am so sad that she suddenly left us, but grateful for her affection, and love. Deborah, Rhonda, Misty and Amanda, our deepest sympathies. Joe & Sarah Martin Bemrich
