Freda was a very kind and loving neighbor to us, when she and James lived in Tolar. My heart aches for James and her entire family, she will be greatly missed. And to my friend Eldora Green, Freda's sister and her family, I am keeping you in my prayers

Freda was such a lovely person, with an infectious smile, in fact, the whole time she worked at the TxDOT office in Glen Rose, there never was a time I didn't see her with a smile on her face! And she made the very best cookies! She was a delight to work with, a truly grand lady! I can't imagine your family's heartbreak in this tragedy; but you are in my prayers.

She was a beautiful Christian Lady.

Freda and I became friends shortly after I lost my Mother. She was such a kind, loving woman and I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to call her a friend
Joanna Gentry left a message on December 21, 2017:
Freda was such a special and loving friend. She loved telling me how very special her kids and grandkids were. They along with James were her life and she loved it. My heart breaks for each one of them and I pray that Freda's love will continue to strengthen each one of them and they will always be blessed by her love. She shared one of her most prized recipes with me several years ago and as I make them this year, her wonderful sugar cookies, I know she will be whispering in my ear "sorry, they are not quite as good as mine but they will be okay." She could make the best cookies and always shared. She is probably having the time of her life in heaven hugging and holding her two precious grandsons and telling them everything will be alright. That was Freda, the most loveable and caring Grandmother, Mother, Daughter, Sister and Wife you will find. Love you and will miss you. Thank you God for Freda and all the laughs.
