Gabriel “Gabe” Leigh Graham, 9 years old passed away on Tuesday; June 23, 2020 in Granbury.
10 years ago today at 9:16 a.m. I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. I fell in love instantly. I had already loved him before he was born but, this was a different kind of love. This was true love! A love I would die for. Five years later my little boy was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. It was so heartbreaking!!! This is an illness that has no cure. I thought I would have many more years with him. I got to be with my baby for four more years. Three days ago I lost my first true love. It is heart crushing! I will never feel a hurt like this. It literally feels like my heart is in pieces. I miss him. I love him and that will never change.
He was born June 26, 2010 in Bedford, Texas.
Gabe is survived by his mother Felicia Graham and his step-father Jason Williams; his father, Alex Graham; brother, Cole Williams; sisters, Makina Williams and Natalie Williams; grandfather, Wilson Andrews; grandmother, Teresa Williams; aunts, Sherri Wilson (Luis), Ember Maxwell (Jesse), and Ginny Shaw (Kevin); uncles, Terry Wilson (Kori) and Casey King (Niesje). Gabe was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Andrews.
A memorial gathering for Gabe will be announced at a later date.
