Gary David Gandy, 78, of Granbury, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020. A Private Service will be held.
Gary was born on November 26, 1941 in Vidor, Texas to Virgil and Trudy Gandy. He proudly served his country in The United States Army and The United States Air Force. He graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. He was an avid football supporter of his alma mater.
Gary excelled in the business world and he was a principal partner and developer of Nova marketing. His favorite quote of all time was “keep it simple stupid” or the KISS principle.
Gary loved his family dearly and he enjoyed spending time with them in Hawaii, Seattle and Granbury. He loved spending time at his home on Lake Travis and at his ranch in Llano where he raised Longhorns. Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, and fantasy football. He believed that all foods tasted better with Tabasco.
Gary was a Christian and was devoted to his faith. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Ginger Gandy.
Gary is survived by his wife: Doris Gandy, daughter: Holly Girouard, son: David Gandy and wife Michelle, daughter: Rachael Reynolds and husband Eric, brother: Steve Gandy and wife Suzanne, grandchildren: Brandon, Oliver, Jennifer and Rebecca, niece: Heather Gandy and great niece: Carsyn Gandy.
