Gary Don McBee

July 13, 1957 - April 22, 2017

Gary Don McBee, 59, left this world to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 22, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Lakeside. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Gary was born in Weatherford on July 13, 1957. He graduated from Weatherford High School in 1975 and was married to Sharon Jean Yeates on August 7, 1976. Gary and Sharon moved to Lake Worth in 1977. They have been active members of First Baptist Church of Lakeside where Gary has served as a Deacon for over 30 years. He loved the Lord and has taught Sunday school classes since he was 16 years old. An avid hunter, Gary said his favorite season was deer season.

Gary was a Member of Building Owners and Managers Association, North Texas Association of Facility Engineers and served as AVP, Facility Manager and Chief Engineer at GM Financial in Arlington.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia Ann McBee Ellis and Billy Gene McBee; step-father, Gordon Clyde Ellis and brother, Ricky Gene McBee.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Sharon Jean McBee; children, Michael McBee, Chris McBee and wife, Krystal; sister, Rita Lang and husband, Mike; step-brother, Dennis Ellis and wife, Joyce; step-sisters, Denise Roglin and husband, Scott, Rhonda Wilson and husband, Gary; grandchildren, MacKenzye, Shelby, Hailey, Matthew, and Mark; many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
