My husband,Harold, and I had the privilege of knowing Gary through the National Hot Air Balloon races held every year in Indianola. It was in the early 70's when we met. He invited us to live in his house the week we were competing. He hosted us many years!! Our young daughters loved him. He was a gentle spirit and very unselfish. The one funny thing I remember about Gary is when we were sleeping on his waterbed and were awakened by Oscar the Grouch!! He had put an Oscar alarm clock under the bed. You haven't lived until Oscar yells at you at 5 am. We haven't kept in touch but loved Gary very much. He will be missed greatly but I'm sure the angels are rejoicing. Accept our sincere condolences.Janet and Harold Carter. Snellville, GA

To the Reetz family, I would like to express my deepest condolences of the passing of my good friend Gary. Gary was absolutely one of the few people that always demonstrated a sincere care for others and one of the positive persons I have ever met. I will never forget his mentoring and strong team attitude. He will surely be missed. Rest in peace. GBU

I will cherish our visits together. Especially, watching the Cowboys in the Media Room. However, most important he was the conduit to you baking me a Chocolate Pie. Blessings!

Sandi, I was so shocked to hear of Gary’s demise. However, both of us know GOD will call his children home when he is ready, not when we are. Our neighbor and loved ones are now in Heaven rejoicing with our Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray for you and your family’s Comfort, Peace, and Strength now and later as you guys endure missing dear Gary. I will also miss his warm, smiling face, and gentle spirit. GOD BLESS! Larry
