Geneva was born in Blue Ridge, Texas on November 11, 1924, to Felma and John Frizzell. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She loved to give hugs and nothing was better than a hug from Miss Geneva.
Geneva loved spending time with both her family and her church family. She enjoyed baking pies for church events and doing things for her neighbors. She loved the pastors at her church and she treated them like her family. Brother James and Brother Kevin were two of the pastors that she adopted.
Geneva was devoted to her church and she was the oldest active member at First Baptist Church of Thorp Spring.
Geneva married Ray Sustaire and they welcomed their son Jerry in 1945. Ray passed away in 1954 and she moved to Fort Worth to live with her mother. While she was there she worked at a glove factory. In 1955, she married Teddie Price. They welcomed their daughter Debbie in 1956. Teddie preceded her in death in 1973.
She married Leo Bellows in 1974, and he preceded her in death in 1982.
Geneva worked at Dairy Queen and cleaned houses. Vega, Texas was Geneva’s home for 30 years from 1974 to 2004. In 2004, she retired and moved to Granbury, where she spent as much time as she could with her family.
Geneva was preceded in death by her husbands: Ray Sustaire, Teddie Price, and Leo Bellows; son-in-law: Paul Gregory; and her stepson: David Bellows.
Geneva is survived by her son: Jerry Sustaire and his wife Linda; daughters: Debbie Gregory, Winnie Tulley, Billye Stockwell and her husband Kevin; grandchildren: Kevin Sustaire and his wife Jayde, and Jeff Sustaire; great-grandchildren: Kole Sustaire, Kade Sustaire, Brinleigh Sustaire, and Sadie Sustaire; and many loving family members.
