George Alokihakau Kaufusi, 47, passed away peacefully in his sleep after suffering for years from Congestive Heart Failure on June 1st, 2022 at 3:45 a.m. in Granbury, Texas.
George was born in Honolulu, Hawaii October 25th, 1974. He grew up in Hawaii and graduated from Kalani High School. He left the island to serve a church mission in South Texas for two years. Shortly after returning he got married to Yesenia in 1997 and lived in Texas for 15 years, and they had five children that he loved with every fiber of his being. He was very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and became a Bishop where he helped so many people. He moved back to Hawaii and was a people person, he could work any job and sell anything. He worked hard and earned his Real Estate License and worked in Waikiki for several years. He returned to Texas in March 2022 to be near all of his kids, as they had all left Hawaii. He loved cooking and making enormous amounts of food and feeding everyone. He loved life and always had fun, he would always put others before himself.
George is survived by his Wife Mele Kaufusi, Daughter Kalonikakala Bryant (Jack), Daughter Akanesi Armstrong (Robert), Son Siaosi Kaufusi, Son Heneli Vea Kaufusi (Ebonie), Son Suliasi Kaufusi, Grandson Heneli Vea Kaufusi, Mother of his five children Yesenia Gonzalez, Mother Aiona Kaufusi, Brother Jack Kaufusi(Shenna), Sister Lisa Kaufusi, Brother Henson Kaufusi, Brother Fred Kaufusi(Brooke) and also nieces and nephews.
George is preceded in death by his Father Heneli Vea Kaufusi.
