Georgia Lee Holland

Georgia Lee Holland passed away on September 18, 2020 at the age of 84 years. Graveside service: 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 24, 2020, Holly Hills Memorial Park.

Georgia was born on January 24, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas. Her parents were George Adolph Henefield and Edith Frances McGee Henefield. Her beloved husband Elton Holland preceded her in death. Georgia is survived by her two sons; Joe G. Beauchamp, Jr. and his wife Stephanie and her son R. Daniel Beauchamp and his wife Shannon and her granddaughter, Bryn.

Georgia’s mother died young and she was raised by her aunt and uncle. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas. Georgia had a career in banking, finance and ranching. She and Eldon lived in Granbury, where she was an avid golfer. She was a very active member of Acton United Methodist Church where she participated in Bible studies. She enjoyed traveling and horse racing in Ruidoso, NM.

Georgia was a true West Texas and Texas Hill Country girl. She loved living on a lake and her dream came true a few months ago when she moved to where she had a magnificent view of Lake Buchanan.

Georgia loved her family and friends dearly and she will be greatly missed.
