Deepest sympathy to Mr.DeRoos’ daughter Phyllis and son-in-law James. Mr. DeRoos was an exceptionally kind man and was dedicated to helping all around him. He will be sorely missed but I’m sure he is with all those he loved . He made a difference in this world and made it a better place to live.

Our deepest sympathy to the DeRoos family. Gerald and Wilma were our "neighbors across the road" for 51 years. Gerald was always there to loan a stock trailer or what ever else was needed at any time. We always enjoyed talking to him and we enjoyed the days when neighbors were actually a part of a "neighborhood". Godspeed Gerald 'till we meet again. May God bless you all with His Peace and comfort.

Paying respects to a cousin that passed away age the grand age of 92. He was a product of the greatest generation and while in his late 80s still was very active and assisted my mom after my father passed away in 2017. A real credit to our family, country and mankind. You'll be missed sir and I wish I could attend your funeral but am unable. My mom will represent and she always speaks kindly of you. Thanks for your military service and keeping us free another generation. From one military veteran to another, I'll visit you grave site, knowing you aren't really there but in the Kingdom of God, but will pay my respects and leave a penny to show others you aren't forgotten. If in the area during Wreaths Across America in December, I'll place a wreath to commemorate your service as I try to do annually for other family members. Godspeed and RIP sir.

My heart goes out to Phyllis and the rest of the family. Gerald was such a kind man and he will be sorely missed! I'll never forget Mom and I sitting in the garage and visiting with him. He was a great conversationalist. He loved showing us his new baby goats and telling us about Phyllis' favorite animals.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My deepest condolences to Phyllis and family. Gerald and Wilma were very special friends for our family, especially for my late wife Gail. She would spend time with them playing dominoes or just sitting around chatting. Somehow Gail always ended up bringing home a nicknack or a piece of furniture Gerald sold her made from recycled fence wood. He’ll probably try to sell her something once he meets her in heaven. 😊

I am praying for the peace and comfort only God can provide you during this difficult time. My mom(Gail Cruz) adored Gerald, they became fast friends over his furniture and ended up being friends forever! Over 25 years later and I can still admire his handiwork all over her house, 6 pieces of furniture in one room alone! I am sure they are having a joyous reunion in heaven! ❤️
