Gertrude was born on August 21, 1921 in Smithville, Tennessee to Lesta Wallace and Alberta Louise Womack. She married W. Lenard Stacy on September 4, 1946 in Dallas, Texas.
Gertrude was a Christian with strong faith who loved to serve others. She was a member of Brown Street Church of Christ.
Gertrude loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved cheeseburgers, fries, and Dr. Pepper. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: W. Lenard Stacy, and brother: Robert Cloud “Bob” Womack.
Gertrude is survived by her children: Will Stacy, Jim Stacy and wife Linda, Amy Hall, and Lesta Rutherford and husband Dan, eleven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, brother: Wallace Womack and wife Sandra and numerous nieces and nephews.
