Gladys Virginia McKean, 97, went to be with her heavenly father Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in Granbury, Texas. Gladys can finally be reunited with her beloved husband, Gordon E. McKean, who passed away in 2003.

Gladys was born March 10, 1920 in Wichita to Mitchell Franklin Bailey and Tillie Jane Armor. She married her high school sweetheart Gordon McKean in February of 1939. They lived in Newton, Kansas, Wichita, Kansas and Denver, Colorado. They enjoyed square dancing all over Kansas and Texas. Gladys was a homemaker and a lifelong member of West Side Christian Church in Wichita.
Gladys is survived by her sons: Michael McKean and wife Darlene of Granbury and Patrick McKean and wife Glenda of Derby, Kansas; grandchildren: Keith McKean, Brian McKean, Cathy Alfaro, Jon Pat McKean and Julie Carter, and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
