Glean C. Brooks, age 88 of Granbury, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Graveside service: 10:00 AM, Monday, March 18, 2019, Holly Hills Memorial Park, Visitation: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 17, 2019, Martin’s Funeral Home, Granbury.

Glean was born on September 12, 1930 in Coleman, Texas to Lora Mae and Louie Lorn Brooks. He was a very loving and caring person. He cared for everyone in his family. Glean’s main passion was woodworking and he was a very talented woodworker. Glean was preceded in death by his wife: Esther Brooks; daughter: Brenda Pearl; brothers: Delbert, Bud and J.W. Brooks; sisters: Arlene Barbour and Wanda May Gentry.

Glean is survived by his son: J.C. Brooks and wife Misty; grandchildren: Meagan Brooks, Eric Brooks and wife Kaci, Brandon Carlisle, Brianna Carlisle; great grandchildren: Ryan Fant, Bryce & Jase Brooks, Braylee Carlisle and brother: Gerald Brooks.
