Glenda J. Wade, 79, of Glen Rose, Texas, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018. Service: 9:30 A.M., Monday, October 1, 2018, Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
Glenda was born December 23, 1938 in Inglewood, Colorado. She married the love of her life, Jerry Wade, on May 19, 1956, in Cleburne, Texas. For 25 years, they traveled all over the United States in their R.V., enjoying great adventures and going to flea markets. Glenda loved baking cookies with her grandchildren and taking care of Jerry’s kids. She also, liked knitting & crochet and working on word search puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and daughter-in-law, Kathy Wade.
Glenda is survived by her loving husband: Jerry Wade, children: Vickie Lynn Groth and husband Larry, Virginia Sue Baker and husband Joe, Jerri Jane Haggen and husband Pete, Jerry Richard Wade II, Gary Gene Wade, Jesse James Wade, Veronica May Gatley and husband Brian; 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great-great nieces and nephews and extended family.
