GRANBURY — Glenda Woodson, 73, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 after a long battle with lung and brain cancer. Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Rough Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials: Hospice Care or American Cancer Society.
Glenda was born July 30, 1939 in Idabel, Okla. to Charley and Barrie Roberts Tompkins. She moved to Granbury in 1977 and retired from Tommy’s after 15 years of service. Glenda was a devoted housewife and mother.
She was preceded in death by: Harvey Sims, Joe Woodson, Jimmy Waldrep, a grandson, Brian Millsap and numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors: Sons, Tim and wife, Judy Waldrep of Greenville and Mark and wife, Kim Waldrep of Tolar; daughter, Beth and husband, Ralph Lawrence of Cleburne; grandchildren, Richard and wife, Michelle Millsap, Corie Waldrep, Jamie and husband, Greg Lewis, Penni and husband, Kerry Kimpton, Dustin and wife, Morgan Waldrep, Benton White, Jerra and husband, Brady Rutledge; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Charlene Raney and Betty Pardeu.
