Grady Eugene Boyd

Grady Eugene Boyd of Lake Brownwood, Texas passed from this life on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 7:15 am at his residence at the age of 92 years.  Services will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Roy Knowles officiating.  Interment will follow.

Grady was born February 7, 1928 in Silver Valley, Coleman County, Texas to William and Ommie C Williams Boyd.  He was raised in Coleman County attending and graduating from Coleman Schools.  Grady served his country in the United States Army during World War II.  He was a longtime active member of the Concho Baptist Church, the Lake Brownwood Volunteer Fire Department and Lions Club. 

Grady was co-owner and operator of Lakeshore Welding, owner of Smokehouse BBQ, owner and operator of Boyd Truck and Backhoe Service at Lake Brownwood for many years.  He was a very hardworking man, lovingly caring for his family and would help anyone in need.
