Harold was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church for over 60 years. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He did volunteer work at St. Thomas Food Bank, delivered Meals on Wheels, and made sandwiches at the Presbyterian Night Shelter.
Since his retirement his greatest joy has been the many trips and hours he spent working/playing on his sons farms. He and his wife traveled all over the world with family and friends. He was an excellent caretaker for his wife of 63 years before her death in Feb. 2009 from Alzheimers.
He loved his God, church, 5 children, 14 grandchildren & 17great-grandchildren very much. He has shown everyone what it means to be faithful, compassionate, fearless and enduring. He had a full life. He will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife Irene , his parents, and his brothers Franklin and David.
Our sincere thanks to his caregiver and special friend, Tina Washington, for her dedication to his well being and the Green family. You have been and will continue to be a part of our extended family.
