Hazel Elizabeth Courtney, 94, went to heaven, Tuesday, March 11, 2014.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church in Hurst. Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Powers Chapel Cemetery in Rosebud. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Universal Hospice.Hazel was born September 3, 1919, in Rosebud to Fletch and Mattie Bailey. She had lived in Fort Worth since 1935 and was the oldest charter member of Friendship Baptist Church.She is survived by her children, Joe Courtney, Lonnie Courtney, and Judy Cashion and husband, Mike; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
