Helen Keller-Kelley, age 93 of Tolar, Texas went home to be with her lord on Sunday April 21, 2019. Service: 1:00 P.M. Monday April 29, 2019, Martin’s Funeral Home Chapel; Visitation: 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. Sunday April 28, 2019, Martin’s Funeral Home; Interment: Squaw Creek Cemetery, Rainbow, Texas.
Helen was born on October 26, 1925 in Brady, Texas to Earl Robert Pate and Ruby Helen Coalson. Helen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
Helen was a school teacher at Carter Riverside in Fort Worth and also an active member of Tolar Baptist Church. Helen was an Eastern Star Matron from 1976-1977 and a member of “Daughters of the Nile,” in Fort Worth.
The family would like to thank Interim Hospice Health Care and Granbury Villa for the care that was given to Helen the last few years. And last but not least, thank you Martin’s Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband: Gene Keller and daughter: Karen Kay Keller-Strickland.
She is survived by her son: Mike Keller of Tolar, Texas; sister: Patricia Thompson-Poston of Weatherford, Texas; many loved grandchildren, great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
