Heron Juarez, 77, passed away, Thursday, October 24, 2013.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to commence at 7 p.m.

Heron was born in San Benito to Pablo and Anna Juarez. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years and worked for the G.S.A. for 17 years. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was an active member of Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, by brothers, Reynaldo and Naun, and by a sister, Santa Castellano.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margarita Juarez of Lake Worth; children, Paul Juarez and wife, Patricia of Rowlett, David Juarez and wife, Anastasia of Macomb Township, Michigan, Debbie Smith and husband, DeWayne of Lake Worth; sisters, Maria Lerma and husband, Gilbert of Harlingen, Noemi Galvan and husband, Uvence, Sr. of San Benito; grandchildren, Julia Juarez, Christina Juarez, Lisa, Linda, and Christopher Smith; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Emily Reyes, Madalynn Whittington, Gavin Hatfield, and Aidan and Camdon Smith.
