Horace O. “Dooney” Faulkner Jr., 81, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016, in Fort Worth.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Bourland Cemetery in Keller. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Dooney was born in Fort Worth on July 2, 1934. Dooney was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Betty; two sons, Billy Tom Faulkner and Wendell Robert Faulkner; and parents, Horace O. Sr. and Montie Marie Faulkner.

Dooney is survived by his children, Jerry Faulkner and partner, Craige, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mike Faulkner of Fort Worth, Rick Faulkner and wife, Amy, of Fort Worth, and Susie Sooter and husband, Brian, of Justin; daughter-in-law, Lisa Faulkner of Lake Worth; brother, Kenny Faulkner and wife, Tena, of Haslet; sister, Brenda White of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two nieces; and four nephews.
