Hubert C. Myres, Jr.

Hubert C. Myres, Jr., 76, of Granbury, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 in a Fort Worth hospital. Memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Junior was born June 23, 1941 in Cleburne to Hubert Calvin and Mary Frances Holland Myres. He married Patricia Smith on December 16, 1964 in Fort Worth. He served in the U.S. Army and was a welding crew supervisor. Junior was multi-talented, could build or repair anything and was a skilled welder, wood crafter and furniture builder. He made miniature models of buildings in Granbury and loved to draw western scenes.

Junior was preceded in death by his wife in 2014; his parents; and brother, Jim Myres.

Survivors: Children, Linda Anderson and husband Howard of Onalaska, TX, Jean Turner of Virginia and Larry Dodd of Oklahoma; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Sue Strickland and husband Lynn and Sherry Hill and husband Jimmy; and numerous extended family and friends.
