WEATHERFORD — Imogene Speir, 84, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012, in Weatherford.
Graveside service: 3:30 p.m. Friday in Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery, Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Mrs. Speir was born Apr. 25, 1928, in Smith County, Texas, to John E. Walles and Ethel Wilson Walles. She married Harry Clayton Speir, Aug. 22, 1957, in Vicksburg, Miss. She was raised in Lone Oak, Texas and moved to Fort Worth as a young lady where she was employed at Container Corp. of America and Montgomery Ward. She had been a resident of Hood County since 1972. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Harry C. Speir, brothers and sister, Louise Carter, Thomas Walles and Lloyd Walles.
Survivors: Son, Hilton C. Speir; brothers and sisters, Polly Ary, Joyce Chester, J.E. Walles, Ferdie Gail Walles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
