Grandmother always had a way of making you feel you where here her favorite even though she favored all of her children. She was unconditional in every way and all ways knew what to say to make you feel better. Grandmother, I love you and you will be missed but never forgotten. I'm sorry I couldn't be there, I just didn't want to face the fact you were gone.

Meeting people is something some of us do so often but yet making real connections with them is not common . From the first time I met Irene , she immediately gave me good vibes and there was a very kind and respectful demeanor that she carried. My baby shower was a very special moment when I first got to meet her. Immediately, we bonded over baby topics to even how we both were not fond of dogs licking babies. This may sound silly to some but just knowing she and I thought exactly alike on the matter was very gratifying. I loved seeing how much she enjoyed spending time with her great grand kids . Her love for cooking was definitely admirable in my book. I wish I could've spent more time with her yet very grateful for the good times we shared. We love you forever and always. " Weeping may endure for a night , but joy comes in the morning." (Psalm 30:5 NIV)

Many a happy hour spent at Longview country club playing golf with this beautiful woman. I loved and respected her so much. She was like a 2nd mother to me.
