Service: 1:00 PM, Friday, July 31st, at Bethesda Community Church.
Isaac Steven Davis, 68, of Saginaw, Texas went to be the Lord on Sunday, July 26th, 2020.
“Steve” was born on March 20, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to Reverend Ike and Grace Davis. Steve married the love of his life, Regina Sue Markum on June 1, 1973. They have been active members of Bethesda Community Church for many years, which is where they met at a very young age.
Steve had a passion for singing, just like his dad. In his early years, he had the privilege of being a part of a couple different gospel singing groups. Steve graduated barber school in 1976 and began his life long career. Steve believed that his business, Go In Style, was his ministry. Through that career, he was able to become a confidant and counselor, of sorts, to many people throughout the years. He cared about each and every one of his customers like they were family. Everyone who met him was drawn in by his comedic uplifting personality and his booming voice. Steve was the shining example of a true friend to all who knew him. He was a man who knew how to hold a family together and a man who always spoke the truth. Steve was gentle, but strong, serious, but silly. He loved deeply and loved well.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Newton Davis and Reba Grace Davis, a sister, Cynthia LuAnn Davis Edwards.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Regina Sue Markum Davis; children, Jeffery Steven Davis and wife Valerie, and Sommer Nicole Davis Rainey and her husband Rusty; sister Lisha Allen and her husband Weldon; grandchildren, Mackenzye, Keirah, Gracie, Evelyn, Oliver, extended family and so many friends.
