She was born to the late Lemoin and Mollie Jane Clem, March 27, 1941, in Charleston, Arkansas. Dean graduated from County Line High School. She spent most of her life as a devoted mother and wife, but later in life she also enjoyed her career and close friends she met while working at various companies around Fort Worth.
She married Ray Williams in 1988, and they lived together in Saginaw, TX. Dean relocated to Charlottesville, VA in February 2020 to be near her daughter and son-in-law. The family then moved to Charlotte, NC in June 2021.
Dean was immensely proud of her family and never missed an opportunity to help others. She was a giver who greatly cared, and always supported the dreams of others first. Dean’s down-to-earth personality and light-hearted spirit was inviting. She loved visiting with others and sharing her infectious giggle over a good cup of coffee. Her country cooking, especially her fried chicken, was a family favorite. She deeply touched the hearts of those she knew and left a lifetime of beautiful memories.
Dean is survived by four children: David Coffman (Andrea), of Smyrna, GA; Christy Borchardt (Ira), of Garland, TX; Krissi Collins, of Fort Worth, TX; and Angela Coffman (Jason Rupp), of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were so dear to her and always put a smile on her face even in the days when her health was declining.
Dean was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray, in 2012.
