GRANBURY — Jack Johnson, age 81, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 in Granbury, Texas.
Memorial service: 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 13, 2015, at Acton Baptist Church in Acton, Texas.

Memorials: St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Jack was born on August 24, 1934 to Jessie Andrew Johnson and Nannie Mae Moore in Sherman, Texas. He married Bonnie Lewis on July 29, 1968 in Plains, Texas. He retired from McVay Drilling Company in Hobbs, New Mexico. Jack and Bonnie lived in Granbury for 10 years. He loved to fish and work in the yard. He enjoyed playing games, cards and dominoes. Jack loved being with his family and spending time on the Texas coast.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Bobby Jack and Charles and his sister, Pauline Jinkins.
Survivors: Wife, Bonnie Johnson of Granbury, Texas; sons, Danny Johnson and Robin of Lovington, NM, Jimmy Ellis and Jan of Madison, AL, Gary Ellis and Carmel of Granbury, Texas, Richard Ellis of San Jose, Costa Rica and Roy Ellis of Lubbock, Texas; daughter, Bonnie Delamater of Roswell, NM; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Jesse Johnson of Dallas, TX, John Johnson and Pat of Mesa, AZ and James Johnson and Shirley of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Helen Tallant of Odessa, TX.
