James A. Daughtrey, 58, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Northwest Baptist Church. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Home.
James was born May 7, 1955 in Paris and was raised in Fort Worth. He wore many hats, contruction worker, Lake Worth Water Dept. worker, Grace Baptist Church maintenance, Azle Treatment Plant worker, Sunday School teacher, Awana leader, and more.
James leaves behind his wife, Rachel; daughters, Crystal and Charlotte; grandchildren, Megan, Ryla, Allyssa, Kayla, and Isaiah; brother, Paul Daughtrey; many other family members and friends.
